Helpful and to the point
This book was a to the point, helpful, and well written resource! I found it eye opeaning, and motivating with actual tools to put into pratice. I have been working on myself for a long time and have read many books and articles from many different authors, listened to many podcasts, seen counselors, done workbooks, diet and body work, Prayer, CNS healing plans, and much more on my healing journey.
I have struggled with unexplainable health problems from autoimmune diseases to generalized Anxiety disorder, OCD, Panic attacks, fibromialgia, To full on hospitalised nervous system collapse. Fear and isolation from depression, A hellish Benzodiazipene journey, Pneaumonia, Lung Absess that came out of the blue, Long Covid ect. has at times has taken over my life and completely overwhelmed me. I have so much to be thankful for in my life, but much of the time I am not able to enjoy any of it.
I am a deep and critical thinker and analysis deeply, and try to put into pratice all the valuable information and concepts I learn, but I have not been able to make any deep or lasting progress. From listening to this book and clearly grasping the concept of how to diffuse Shame, I have hope and feel empowered!
