About this listen
Libby
I found Killian drunk and sprawled out on my lawn like some lost prince. With the face of a god and the arrogance to match, the pest won't leave. Sexy, charming, and just a little bit dirty, he's slowly wearing me down, making me crave more. He could be mine if I dare to claim him. Problem is, the world thinks he's theirs. How do you keep an idol when everyone is intent on taking him away?
Killian
As lead singer for the biggest rock band in the world, I lived a life of dreams. It all fell apart with one fateful decision. Now everything is in shambles.
Until Liberty. She's grouchy, a recluse - and kind of cute. Scratch that. When I get my hands on her, she is scorching hot and more addictive than all the fans who've screamed my name.
The world is clamoring for me to get back on stage, but I'm not willing to leave her. I've got to find a way to coax the hermit from her shell and keep her with me. Because, with Libby, everything has changed. Everything.
Contains mature themes.

Lawn Bum...Swoon!
Killian Alexander James is my favorite romance leading man, hands down. He's simply a big hearted, protective, creative, funny, spoiled rock star . I have been obsessed with this love story for a few years now. I won't confess how many times I have reread this book, that would be embarrassing ; but I can already tell I'll be just as obsessed with the audiobook. The unfortunately named Liberty Bell is living and grieving in isolation on an island farm she inherited from her deceased parents. Into her life crashes rock star incognito Killian James. Kills has been wandering and grieving as well; his best friend and band mate Jax tried to kill himself one year earlier, and all the members of Kill John are lost and broken. How a staggeringly drunk Killian ends up naked on Liberty's lawn, and Libs ends up covered in vomit is my favorite meet cute (perhaps more accurately a meet cringe) of all time. Watching these two heal each other just makes me happy every single time.
I wasn't sure about Jeremy York as Kills; wasn't sure there was enough grit in his voice to pull the role off, but he does it well. He gets the good hearted, goof inside the spoiled rockstar. Lynn Barrington is perfect as the snarky Liberty; but it really is Mr York's Killian that makes this audiobook. Very nicely done!

Good Read
This is books is near the top of my list for rockstar romances. Killian and Libby are fun, interesting and relatable characters. Both their romance and their character growths are well done and good. They captured my attention from the start and held it to the very end. Their meet cute is a good one 😊. I enjoyed their journey and am looking forward to see more of them in the other books in the series. The secondary characters added to the fabric of the story each in their own way.
I listened to this book on audio and very much enjoyed it. The narrators did a good job and were easy to understand and follow.
