Publisher's Summary

A program that will change your entire perspective on life

In 2017, Sounds True launched the first-ever online course with Michael A. Singer, the best-selling author of The Untethered Soul and The Surrender Experiment. This course has been one of our most well-received - and for good reason. The program features eight profound and inspiring all-new sessions drawn from Singer’s 50 years as a spiritual teacher (and a highly successful business entrepreneur).

Now available on CD or as a digital download, Living from a Place of Surrender brings you the same perspective-shifting, spiritually liberating teaching sessions for letting go of stress and fear and aligning with the flow of life in the moment.

Here’s what the author has to say about the program:

"Dear friends,

In case you haven’t noticed, you have a mental dialogue going on inside your head that never stops.

This is the opening sentence of my book, The Untethered Soul. Since its publication in 2007, I’ve been inundated with questions about why that inner voice is always talking, why so much of what it says is negative and stressful, and most importantly, how you free yourself from it.

In this course, we will put to rest any questions you have about that inner dialogue. Not just about quieting it down - but about how to steadily remove the root cause of its existence.

One of the greatest lessons you will learn here is that trying to achieve happiness by "getting what you want" is actually limiting your happiness. You end up struggling with life instead of experiencing it. True happiness comes only when your inner energy is free to flow. That unhampered flow is, indeed, the goal of this course.

We will see that the most effective personal growth technique is to use life to remove your inner blockages, not compensate for them.

In this course, you’ll learn about your true relationship to the world unfolding around you and to the thoughts and emotions arising within you. But most importantly, you will come into touch with the real "you" - the indwelling consciousness that is witnessing it all.

The intention of this course is to change your entire perspective of life. Every session will challenge you to go beyond yourself.

With great love and respect,

Michael A. Singer"

Skip a few chapters

This book was incredibly helpful for me dealing with the negative thoughts that I tend to ruminate on. That said I would recommend skipping chapter 2 and 3 as he essentially makes a simple point and then spends the rest of the chapter giving very similar examples to explain it. He kind of beats a dead horse here and it’s gets a bit dull, I didn’t find chapter 2/3 helpful. The rest of the book is very helpful.

Incredibly amazing! Thank you!.

Love it, in my faith, the work you do with your self is called Jihad. People misuse this word but this is the highest and the biggest investment a person can do for themselves, it is to work on yourself!

Such mixed feelings…

It starts brilliantly. But Michael can’t even quit talking down to us. And our inner garbage. It’s like you’re being reprimanded for 5 hours despite the beautiful ideas. I don’t know how to take it. His understanding and philosophy are terrific. His personality in expressing it is just so demeaning. Wish this very message could be delivered without the words stupid and garbage and weird and “what’s wrong with you?” It isn’t needed. Shame.

Literally life changing

Please listen. This is the clearest, most direct, most endearing spiritual teaching I've received.

A roadmap for freedom

Michael Singer has shown me the way to freedom through learning to rise beyond the anxiety, depression and anger that dominated me up to the age of 53 yrs.

I recommend his books to anyone on the hunt for love, peace and joy.

A must read for everyone who’s anxious, stressed, depressed or looking for the meaning of life

One of the best book I’ve read was the surrender experiment. Then this book is a more applicable version for our daily life. I listen to it 10-20min per day as a reminder when I’m feeling stressed or anxious about something. Always help tremendously. Thank you Michael.

Guiding you back to peace

Things really get cooking in Chapter 7. I always respond to the path of letting go and releasing because it works.

Interesting but delivery problematic at times

Again, in this book, as in the last book I read both authored and read by Singer, there are parts I can relate to and enjoy. However I struggle sometimes with the tone he uses, the words he uses and his mocking laugh ( i. e. ... “c’mon are you serious ?”), which in my opinion are all very condescending. Having said this, I kept reading the book because there were many sections where he drew me in and I learned a lot. I generally really like when the author reads his or her own work but for me, because of the aforementioned, I questioned his legitimacy as a genuine spiritual guide. If he is, it sounds to me like he still struggling with his own ego quite a bit more than he may even realize. Despite this, I may still buy another work by Singer.

Additionally, as the reader, one thing that really did bother me, was the constant usage of the word… “right ?”. I just found it incredibly annoying at times.

Different Perspective

Very deep and informative. I needed to listen 3 times to even start to get it. I don't agree with everything Michael said but it brings about a very different perspective. I truly believe in letting go (Surrender) but it is much easier said then done. I guess I am a work in progress. JUST LIKE YOU! Thank-you Michael.

I have been living all my life to hear this messag

I had to listen to this twice in a row to get a grasp of what Michael was teaching. It was time well spent and I will listen again and again in the years to come . I have learned what the purpose of my life is. Let go, grow, love repeat.
