Publisher's Summary

The best mixtape always has a mix of favorites on it - songs playing in the background at Jude and Derek’s wedding or when Simone finally falls in love. Loud beats pounding the dance floor when Blue tries to seduce Tristan in public, or sleepy notes written late at night while Jude is on tour. Strains of familiar music bring heart-gripping memories rushing back in - memories of the first time Tilly meets Senator Cannon, the weekend a mysterious new family member arrives at a snowy cabin expecting solitude but finding a sexy lumberjack instead, or the winter Teddy “accidentally” strands Jamie in Tibet.

Made Marian Mixtape is a collection of everything from a short 1,000-word vignette to a longer 30,000-word novella. Catch glimpses into the lives of favorite existing Marian characters and meet new ones as well. With everything from hot nookie in a broken elevator to double-doses of pre-wedding panic, Mixtape presents over 10 new stories set in the Made Marian world that will make you sniffle, swoon, and laugh out loud.

Made Marian Mixtape is 72,000 words in length and best enjoyed by listeners familiar with the Marian world.

Great!

I love the way this collection of stories has put the different characters' stories to an even happier ending and included some good back stories. Michael Dean as usual did an outstanding job of bringing all the characters to live. Enjoyed all the stories.

Never Ending Stories

With this short story collection Lucy reminds us that the characters from the Made Marian series stories hadn't ended with their happily ever after. Life is still going for them, that things can still be complicated, messy and beautiful. We get to see their growth as couples and families.

Second favourite was the stories about Tily and her hunky Harold. I love that even though this series is about the gay and bi men in the Marian families, Lucy takes some time to include lovely endings for all out favourite female characters too.

I think that I enjoyed the short story Hard Rock most as a continuation of the love that the Marian family has to extend to even more kids from Marian house. Mark and Aman's story was so tender and inevitable.

Lucy shows us that everyone deserves a happy ending and love.
