Humanity has reached the stars, joining the vast galactic community of alien species. It is a good Mass Effect story, set between ME2 and ME3, and the reader is great. However, if you are in love with the games as I am a lot of the established characters act so much more gullible and definitely not as intelligent as they are in the games.
