Publisher's Summary

The sequel to the acclaimed Gaza in Crisis from world-famous political analyst Noam Chomsky and Middle East historian Ilan Pappe.

Operation Protective Edge, Israel's 2014 assault on Gaza, left thousands of Palestinians dead and cleared the way for another Israeli land grab. The need to stand in solidarity with Palestinians has never been greater. Ilan Pappe and Noam Chomsky, two leading voices in the struggle to liberate Palestine, discuss the road ahead for Palestinians and how the international community can pressure Israel to end its human rights abuses against the people of Palestine.

Must read book for 2023 but much too late for the Palestinian people.

A realistic and accurate description of what Palestinians have endured. Two renowned scholars of history discuss what the situation was prior to 2023 and gives insight to what’s going on now if you were in the dark as I was prior to reading h this book and others like it.

Not very educational

If youre looking for objective education on this explosive and ever current world issue, this title is a hard pass.
In seeking to understand fine details concerning both sides of the conflict, I wrongly assumed this book would be valuable.
It was not; it was grossly one sided and dramatic in conveying the one opinion, and for me, made it very uninteresting.
Facts, ofcourse, are present, but alas painted with a very partisan brush, and personally; just not what I expected from a Chomsky title.
Dislike.
