The surface world is a strange place for a young man who grew up in hell.

this was much better then I thought
the MC is op ,but done in a way that make him relatable.
and he has weaknesses that his friends help to cover.

enjoyable new series
I loved this book and can't wait for the next one. The narration was great and the characters were interesting. I really got pulled into the story I listened to it in one go. it's well worth the credit.

Great voice work.
an excellent story. I like the other points of view. an the story explains the power grades well. it has light hearted moments. it's a good time.
allot of different voices for one person to do. it's impressive.

Not for me
To be straight up, the story ended up not being for me. While I really enjoyed the start a great amount and even the beginning of the adventure out of hell, it started to lose my interest plot wise. Also there's so much sex scenes it look me out of the story lmao.
I do think it was a good premise and the narrator was good but in the last few hours of it I was taken out of my experience with it. I can see it being for other people though so I would say give it a go if you have a free credit as you might enjoy the parts I didn't.

This one was rough. I'm used to female characters suffering from "male author syndrome" but this book has taken the crown. And an OP main character can definitely work though if he didn't have the personality of a wet paper bag with muscles and a big dick. The overarching story/world is awful too. It's just a generic angels-demons plot with a corrupt paladin order.
The narrator did an okay job with what she was given. Even though her idea of differing character voices is just a british accent or trying to make her voice deep.
