The European Portuguese Language

Portuguese is the mother tongue of about 170 million people, mainly in Portugal and the Portuguese islands in the Atlantic, Brazil, and Portugal's former overseas provinces in Africa and Asia. Pimsleur's European Portuguese teaches the Lisbon dialect of Portuguese.

I Would Recommend...

I would recommend this for someone who wants to begin learning Portuguese. I do find that they speak very fast and I could use a bit more breakdown of the sentences and explanation of what verbs I'm saying, but other than that it's pretty good. I've gone through this book and now I'm on the second book. For the amount of lessons you get per book I think it's a bit overpriced, but what can you do...
