About this listen
Fans of MTV's Teen Mom have watched Kailyn Lowry grow from a vulnerable, pregnant teen into a fiercely independent young mother. Through it all Kailyn has faced challenges with her head held high and her spirit intact. In a moving effort to finally put the past behind her, Kailyn shares her troubled, often painful story and reveals the dark secrets she has so closely guarded. Guided by the single principle of helping other young girls like her, she takes the listener behind the scenes, writing candidly about her struggle to provide a safe home for her son, breaking her silence on the question of her sexuality, and sharing the traumatic sexual experiences that have left her deeply scarred.

The book
I’ve been dying to read this book for such a long time and I am so happy I read it.. it was so good with so much information I didn’t know!! It also goes to show never judge someone until you’ve walked in their shoes. You should be so proud kail ❤️❤️❤️

Narrator had a hard time capturing Kails attitude
I listened to the entire thing to make sure I was giving it a full chance. the narrator was not a good choice. it should have been Kail. the narrator made it seem like Kail was this pity story and not strong at all. the story at the end about Javi was just Kail kissing his ass and it was over dramatized. she was never that head over heels for him to write all that stuff about him. nor is it her personality to do that either. she did mention her not being able to let people in as easily as others can, and some of the history of that and that seemed more authentic than the stuff she wrote at the end.
maybe this entire thing is a misunderstanding that could have been clarified if Kail read it instead. to get her tone to it.
