great listen
this was definitely a good listen if you're into fantasy and anime. it is more or less a typical harem story but it was well performed, in my opinion. Having a sex like dynamic it's in no way over done and doesn't take over the story at all. I am looking forward to the next books

Just... wow
my personal favorite of the genre by far! well written and beautifully performed. so cute and exciting. I've never been so glad to see so meny more books in a series!

it is part of a filled genre but one I've enjoyed
so the book follows the weakest Summit is not really the weakest Summit falls along the same ideas as similar named titles or even that fairly popular light novel in manga turned anime Arfurita? (sorry I can't spell the name) but it follows along with him and his unique summons as he goes on a self-learning spree while just trying to be the best person he can be.
I've enjoyed the book multiple times over the last couple years. kind of wish that more of the books would be omnibuses but I'm not going to complain on that.
the World building is unique and believable. some parts are absolutely unbelievable. but we the reader / listener are finding out about some of these things the same time as some of the characters..
I have a biases towards well voiced male female parts and overall the voice actors do really well in making sure you know who is the voice to who.
it is a harem/coming of age/finding oneself series.
the interpersonal relationships are there. but not so hot and heavy that it takes away from the storyline. cute characters, lovely mother figure.. lots of laughs and self exploration.
it may be for you it may not be for you. but as a OTR. it's something that I can smile and laugh a while putting stupid kilometers on the road every day.

this book is poorly written
the book progress as, an event happens, and then afterwards, the main character "mansplanes" to the summon girl what just happened. it really talks down to its audience. as a harem fiction, it lacks heavy. as a fantasy book it's boring.
