About this listen

She wanted to be a Necromancer, but awakened as a Saint! Somehow her summoned heroes are all undead?

How will the church react when their Saintess summons a skeleton in place of a mighty hero? Sofia isn’t too keen on finding out.

In this world, Gods choose [Saints], and [Saints] summon [Heroes] from other worlds; everyone knows that. But Sofia had a thing for bones ever since she was a child; there’s only one [Class] she wants: [Necromancer]! When, by the whims of fate, she gets both classes at the same time, the system breaks.

Two classes? That isn’t allowed!

It cannot be! The system’s administrators would not let it go… If only they were still there.

But they were not, and it was too late. Sofia saw an opportunity to abuse a loophole in the system, and she is just the kind of person who would try to stick her whole arm into said loophole if she could if only to see what happens.

So, what has the system, running by itself with its mysterious creator missing, done to mend the error? The two classes fused into one.

Sofia’s skills from the two classes were broken and mashed together. [Holy Light]? [Raise Skeleton]? What she receives is [Holy Skeleton] instead. But can she escape the Church’s grasp with her newfound powers, or is she destined to forever but some God’s pawn?

Follow Sofia as she unknowingly gets tangled in power struggles far beyond what she had bargained for.

With millions of views and thousands of followers, this was one of the most popular female-led web serials of 2023. Be ready for a wild ride as you experience the reworked and improved version of Sofia's Skeletal Shenanigans!

Good start

I think this book would be the quality for a young adult book. It does have some violence. As an adult book it is lacking depth to pull the reader in. Performance is also on par with a teen book.

meh starts good.

Well this was a waste of a credit sadly. Story starts off good. But the narrating got to me by 4 hours in. It seems like the narrator says something then the MC says it right after. or it comes off as the MC is talking to the narrator at times.

Pretty good

Pretty good as far as these lit rpg's go. The opening is pretty interesting. I really enjoyed the trial section.

The second half of the book the mc is kinda alone too much. Like I think she needs to connect more regularly with other peeps that isn't just the banshee. Given the mc is a necromancer I feel like she should have gotten some sort of army of skeletons sooner. But maybe that's not how that works I dunno.

Got it all

Good writing, good dialogue, good characters, good pacing. I can't complain about anything, it's just good. Usually I find something to criticize, or some kind of caveat but I just can't. if you like litrpg it's just good. I'm deeply hopeful the series continues to get audiobooks done and I can come back to this.

Pleasantly surprised

Went in with few expectations and had a fun time. The worldbuilding wasn't overwhelming. Very glad I don't need to give any problematic trigger warnings for it (and that seems intentional by the author).
No SA, slaves or anything of the like.
Excited to see where the story goes next!
