Review
Over all a beautifully done rendition of one of my favorite books. Angela Dawe breaths life into the characters Nalini Singh so expertly crafted. The over all mechanics of the universe have some rough spots, but those are evened out in later books. This series is and continues to be one of favorites year after year.

it was good. i will continue
this author comes up a lot on reddit. especially book 12. so i decided to take a look. didn’t realize i would need to go through 11 books to read #12. i took a chance. said if book 1 is good i’ll start at the beginning. it was. but the writing style it a bit different from what i’m use to. sometimes hard to follow. maybe because the book is 20 years old. but regardless still very good. others may not share my opinion obviously. but that’s how i felt.

Intense & wonderful
This is the first book I read of Nalini Singh's, and I haven't wanted to stop. She has created an amazing new world. I also strongly recommend the Guild Hunter series. all of her series are amazing actually. just keep reading or listening. :)

Great new series
I thought the overall performance of the narrator was great! And the story line kept me going right to the end. Very much enjoyed this book!

It’s an interesting concept
I enjoy the story well enough but was disappointed that I guessed the entire plot in the beginning of the book and it had no twists or turns. It’s a simple book the would is interesting but the writing was just kinda lacking. Hopefully the next book in the series will be better

Actually Engrossing
I gotta be honest, I've had this book in my library from MONTHS, without looking at it. I dont know why, but I DO know I am currently downloading #2 and 3, and I actually cannot wait to listen!! A truly shocking addiction lol ❤️
