The New York Times and USA Today best-selling collection of short stories chronicling the adventures of Simon Lewis as he trains to become a Shadowhunter is now available for the first time with an all-star cast of narrators!

Simon Lewis has been a human and a vampire, and now he is becoming a Shadowhunter. The events of City of Heavenly Fire left him stripped of his memories, and Simon isn't sure who he is anymore. So when the Shadowhunter Academy reopens, Simon throws himself into this new world of demon hunting, determined to find himself again. Whomever this new Simon might be.

But the Academy is a Shadowhunter institution, which means it has some problems. Like the fact that non-Shadowhunter students have to live in the basement. At least Simon's trained in weaponry - even if it's only from hours of playing D&D.

Join Simon on his journey to become a Shadowhunter, and learn about the Academy's illustrious history along the way through guest lecturers such as Jace Herondale, Tessa Gray, and Magnus Bane. Written by Cassandra Clare, Sarah Rees Brennan, Maureen Johnson, and Robin Wasserman, these moving and hilarious short stories are perfect for the fan who just can't get enough of the Shadowhunters.

Full cast of narrators includes Torrance Coombs, Sam Heughan, Keahu Kahuanui, and Brett Dalton.

didn't think I would like it, but I LOVED it

I am not a fan of short stories. I love the shadow hunter books though, so I gave it a try. It reads in order, starting with Simon's first day, and ending with his last. There are guest speakers, who tell stories from the past from other characters points of view, and a story from Magnus's POV...but it all ties into Simon's academy experience. I really enjoyed all the different narrators. though, I don't understand why Sam Heughen was given a story with so few Grorge lines, and other narrators who did HORRIBLE Scottish impressions get stories with tons of George in them. my favorite narrator was Torrance Coombs- Amazing actor!

Great

Love it. Adds a lot to the other books. Fills in nicely the void between TMI and TDA

I loved finding out what happened to Simon.

I've read the mortal instruments and the infernal devices. I love finding out how they're intertwined and what happened to Simon.

Loved this series!

When I first came across this series, I knew for a fact, I was going to love it. I loved the Mortal Instruments, the Infernal Devices and the Dark Artifices. being able to listen to Simon‘s story on becoming a shadowhunter was incredibly amazing and loved every minute of it! I am very happy that Simon along with his other classmates who were “Mundanes” past the Ascension to become Nephilim
