About this listen
When raised to the level of art, seduction, an indirect and subtle form of power, has toppled empires, won elections, and enslaved great minds. The Art of Seduction synthesizes the legacies of civilization's greatest seducers - from Cleopatra to JFK - with the philosophies of important intellectuals on the subject, including everyone from Freud to Kierkegaard and Ovid to Casanova, and the classic literature of seduction. Robert Greene identifies the rules of a timeless, amoral game and explores how to cast a spell, break down resistance, and, ultimately, compel a target to surrender. The Art of Seduction is an indispensable primer on the essence of one of history's greatest weapons and the ultimate form of power.

In this final master-work of The Rational Male series, Rollo Tomassi breaks down the fundamental mechanics of Game, intersexual social skills, and the nuts and bolts psychology that makes it work. The Players Handbook is not a "how-to" book, it's a "why-it-works" book. It’s not an instruction manual—it is the missing textbook on Game and understanding intersexual dynamics. Game is an adaptive set of social skills and best practices in navigating intersexual dynamics in a modern sexual marketplace.

Men have been conditioned to be the quintessential "nice guy". They're trained to be overly humble, kind to a fault, and that just "being themselves" is enough to attract and keep the woman of their dreams. Men are told to believe that conventional masculinity is toxic and to put women ahead of their own interests, passions, and purpose. This book exposes the comforting lies you've been told throughout your life for what they really are, enabling you to become a truly authentic alpha who chases excellence and leads a successful passion-filled life.

If you are stuck in someone's control or don't want to be, you must know this favorite mind game of great manipulators. It is so powerful that most people won't be able to detect it even for many years of being enslaved. Why? Gaslighting is a very common method of manipulation that when intentionally or even unintentionally used, you'll be so influenced emotionally that you cannot think for yourself or for your own good. Sound nasty? It is. But you'll never know when you're participating as the inflictor or the prey until you explore this book.

Nuanced subject. Brave author. Shadow work.
These are the things you think are happening to you in your head and gaslight yourself out of because people can’t be that evil. News flash! They can be. People are animals too. This book is great for awareness to our animal nature or shadow. I got this book to protect myself from manipulation only to find that I have subconsciously committed a few of these things. Know thyself. I am the ideal and the dandy and I didn’t even know.

Great storytelling
I will say the same thing I said about 48 Laws of Power. A lot of the advices seem fictional, dating way too far back to ne applicable to how the society operates today. Although, the human psychology is still the same in some ways, it has changed drastically.

This is a narcissist how to book...
This book offers a comprehensive guide on the tactics of love bombing, targeting, and manipulating individuals. It provides valuable insights into how people can be easily influenced and deceived. However, the author's approach of referring to individuals as "victims" during the seduction process raises ethical concerns. The focus of the book appears to be more on manipulation and causing harm rather than fostering genuine love and healthy relationships. It is essential to distinguish between seduction and manipulation in order to grasp the true essence of the content. *Eyeopening to protect yourself from these predators.
