About this listen
When the president of the United States is blackmailed into releasing five detainees from Guantanamo Bay, a sadistic assassin with a vendetta years in the making is reactivated. Suddenly, the people closest to counterterrorism operative Scot Harvath are being targeted and he realizes that somehow, somewhere he has left the wrong person alive.
With his life plunged into absolute peril, and the president ordering him to stay out of the investigation, Harvath must mount his own covert plan for revenge - and in so doing will uncover shattering revelations about the organizations and the nation he has spent his life serving.

George does it again!!
The narrator as per usual does an awesome job getting you involved in the story with his many characters and voices. I could listen to him speak all day! This was one of my favorite books so far in this series lots of twists and turns. definitely a fun adventure I can't wait to get started into the next one!

Consistent and great.
narrator as always is great and the book plays flawlessly.
the story was probably my favorite if the harvath series. extremely frustrating as it seems harvath cannot get ahead and the twists in the back half of the book are great. totally recommend this book and all other harvath books before it.

Can see why Jack Carr’s character reads Brad Thor
Going from Harrison Ford movies to the Tom Clancy audiobooks, I expanded into their genre, and, after being taken in by Jack Carr, even before the Amazon prime series, I was struck by jack cars dedication of one of his books to Brad Thor, and can understand why he wrote one of his characters in reading Brad Thor novels. Different tones, different themes, and teams, but amazing attention grabbing fiction. Will certainly continue to burn through the Brad Thor books seeking the mind, consuming diversion for an ADD brain, these books are good at grabbing your attention and keeping it. I have to say thank you to Jack Carr for turning me onto Brad Thor.
