The Amazon number one best seller.

A terrorist attack. A rogue soldier. A relentless hunt for the truth.

Sam Pope was one of the UK’s finest soldiers, serving over a decade as an elite sniper. After a near fatal shooting brings an end to his career, Sam returns home to his family and a potential new career in the Metropolitan Police. When disaster strikes and his bond with his family is broken, Sam takes a job as an archive officer within the Met, hunting down criminals that have beaten the system and delivering his own brand of justice.

When a terrorist attack at the London Marathon shakes the city to its core, Sam decides to open his own line of investigation. Venturing into the world of organized crime and police corruption, Sam soon finds himself as the number one target...and faces a race against time to expose the truth.

Fans of Lee Child, Mark Dawson, Robert Ludlum, and Vince Flynn who are looking for their next action hero, will be thrilled by The Night Shift, the first book in the Amazon number one best-selling series.

Phenomenal story and Naration! One of the best! Felt like I was watching a movie due to the incredible realistic quality of the narration.

Phenomenal!

I loved the fast pace of the story but it just came out as a staccato of hard to believe episodes read by a fast paced British voice.

Just Did Not Do It For Me

this is an overall good action book. starts off with the main character leading a normal life then real life got in the way. A couple of slow parts but its needed for the whirlwind of an ending. now after this book I have to use a credit and buy the next book. highly recommend this book if you want non stop action.

good book

Writing was slightly repetative. And near the end he lost me when he said that after pulling the gun from behind his back, his finger instictively went on the trigger. Any highly trained soldier never puts their finger on the trigger especially when the gun is behind your back.

Medium level book.

This book reads more like a screen play than a novel. The ending is a big shoot out with lots of death that made me feel ill, rather than satisfied that justice was done. It might play well on the screen but did nothing for me as a reader (or listener). The narrator sounds overly dramatic about every single thing that happens, which gets exhausting to listen to. I wanted to empathize with the main character m, but mostly just wanted the story to end.

Poor ending
