Publisher's Summary

A diabolically twisty, psychologically unsettling novel about a woman with no recollection of her past from the authors of the Reese Witherspoon Book Club pick The Last Mrs. Parrish and The Wife Stalker.

"Jaw-dropping twists with an unsettling edge that you’ll need a few days at the beach to recover." (Reese's Book Club)

Addison’s about to get married, but she’s not looking forward to the big day. It’s not her fiancé; he’s a wonderful man. It’s because Addison doesn't know who she really is. A few years ago, a kind driver found her bleeding next to a New Jersey highway and rescued her. While her physical wounds healed, Addison’s memory never returned. She doesn’t know her real name. Or how she ended up injured on the side of a road. Or why she can’t shake the notion that she may have done something very, very bad....

In a posh home in the Boston suburbs, Julian tries to figure out what happened to his loving, caring wife, Cassandra, who disappeared without a trace two years ago. She would never have left him and their seven-year-old daughter Valentina of her own free will - or would she?

As these two lives intersect, The Stranger in the Mirror hooks readers with riveting drama, told with Liv Constantine’s hallmark blend of glamour, tense psychological thrills, and jaw-dropping twists.

Another masterpiece

A great story that had my attention from the get go and trying to figure out how this would END! Liv Constantine is the best! A masterpiece by Liv Constantine! She us quickly becoming my favorite thriller writer. This one is outstanding! Addison shows up in Philadelphia knowing nothing about her self. Ed, a truck driver found her battered and bloodied on the side of a road Addison has amnesia! As she builds a new life, she meets Gabriel and they quickly make plans to marry, but Blythe, Gabriel's mother is wary of Addison. We also get another point of you, that of Julian, Addison's husband who's been looking for her for 2 years. It's a roller-coaster ride of emotions, anticipation and intrigue and you won't believe the twists. Yet again à great story! I loved the audiobook!

Pass on this one

I enjoyed the previous titles by these authors but didn’t like this book at all.

Male narrator ruins it

The story itself was good. It held my attention from the beginning and kept me wanting to come back to keep listening. There are 3 narrators. The woman who does the “Blythe” chapters is the best of the 3. The woman who does the other females occasionally gets the voices wrong, like adding an accent sometimes to a character and sometimes not. The make narrator RUINS IT! I was so annoyed and cringing when he’d do female voices, but his voice for the female child almost made me quit the book. It’s THAT bad. I actually put his chapters on 1.5 speed just to get past them. The sound he makes for the child’s voice is the most unnatural and annoying sound. I’m seriously not sure how he was approved to narrate parts of this! I did come across several mistakes in the storyline too, like saying something was months then later only weeks, things like that. Plus a couple of things didn’t make sense and either needed better explanation or to be just left out. I will listen to other titles by this author but I 100% will NOT listen to another book with Jeremy Arthur as narrator.
