Story
Jesus warned that deception would grow worse as we draw nearer to the end times, saying, "Take heed that no one deceives you" (Matthew 24:4). Distinguishing truth from error has become an increasingly challenging task—even in the church. We live in a time when falsehoods assault us from every direction. Packaged with just enough truth to make them appear trustworthy, these counterfeits have grown more and more difficult to detect and avoid. Living in the Daze of Deception explores the many ways error is masquerading as truth—and how you can discern the difference.

Story
In Ephesians 6:11, the Apostle Paul calls on all believers to put on the whole armor of God. We have many battles yet to fight but we do not fight to achieve victory; we fight from the victory already achieved on the cross. There are certain enemies whom God delivers you from, but there are other enemies He empowers you to have dominion over. Deliverance is what God does in you; dominion is what he does through you. You can stop being tired of going from deliverance to deliverance.

Dramatic reading with sounds, but complete.
Some of the sound effects and dramatic reading can be distracting. However , the different voices can make it easier to discern the speaker.

Very Well Done!
The narration is excellent, and there is just enough background music/sounds to embellish but not distract. I only wish it was easier to distinguish the parts when searching, but with such a large book it's understandable. I did find a chapter list for the Audible book download online and use that as a reference to find specific books of the bible. It's a great companion for my morning walks with my dog!

LOVE IT!
I have just recently in the last year decided to read the Bible (I am 54 yrs). I was struggling because of the pronunciation of some of the names/words and wasn't really absorbing the words. This audible book is a game changer for me. The changing of the voices for each character, the subtle background noises so you know where they are and the soft background music brings the Bible to life for me. I put aside time first thing in the morning to sit comfortably with my earphones on and close my eyes and I can almost experience it like I am watching a movie. Some people said that the background noises were 'distracting' but I could not disagree more. You will even recognize some of the celebrity voices. I was afraid it would be mono tone and boring which is more a distraction for me and then my mind wanders....but not with this. I highly recommend this book to everyone of any age.

Hearing the Bible with different characters voiced by different actors including women actors for women's parts was an eye opening experience. I am loving the experience of listening to God's word. So different from reading it and exposing me to new translations as well.
