Publisher's Summary

They say only fools enter the tower....

All Max wants is to become a climber and search for his long-lost sister.

But citizens aren’t allowed to climb - they aren’t even allowed remotely in the vicinity of the mysterious and magical tower. Plus, even if citizens could enter, it didn’t change the fact that Max’s body is paralyzed from the waist down, confined to a wheelchair. No way would anyone let him enter the tower. Ever.

Yet one night, everything changes, and Max’s world is thrown upside down. He suddenly gains an ultra-rare ability and the chance to train and climb the tower.

But being a climber isn’t as easy as it sounds. Each floor of the tower contains vast worlds and deadly, magical monsters.

While Max may want to ascend to the top of the tower, there are plenty of others who want to as well, many who won’t blink an eye at removing anyone who stands in their way....

Tower Climber is the start of a brand-new LitRPG/progression fantasy series by Jakob Tanner, best-selling author of Arcane Kingdom Online. The story contains RPG mechanics, stats, and ranks as a form of power progression.

Good beginning

Good beginning to a great story concept. Slow character development, but the story moves itself along at a good pace.

A lot of fun

Loved the spin on the tower climbing genre.
There is clearly a lot of inspiration coming from Anime which I adore.
Really enjoyed all the characters, the fight scenes and the humor.
Steve did an incredible job bringing this book to life as usual.

WOW! really good book

I got a free book to review from the narrater Steve Campbell. It was an amazing story. The ending after the big cilmax should of been a bit longer in my opinion other then that it was a really great book.

an oldie but a goodie

despite the plot being rather similar to many other books I've read recently it's a fun time. Many of my favorite litrpg tropes in one place, this book checks all the boxes.

Good story, cheesy narration.

I liked the story, but the writing is basic and cliché. But the narration is awful, crazy voices.

Fun Read

reads like a YA book. it's pulpy and fun. world building is decent. jumps around a bit and is a bit lacking on the progression of the MC. For a book called Tower Climber I wish the progression of the MC corolated to progress up the tower. the battles were felt rushed and were not very capitvating. I think the magic system could have been more flushed out for the reader. overall though the book had me smiling and I will likely get the sequel when it comes out
