it was very good
the powers are cool, and the fights while predictable were also a lot of fun.

Predictable!
The story is predictable and poorly written. The narration is a bit creepy with the narrator switching to what approximates as a women's voice but comes across as a bad tyranny imitation.
Don't waste your time.
Try the Land series.
