Publisher's Summary
Elli Inks has never ridden her father’s train. But, now, just before her 10th birthday, Elli is going to take a trip.
But this is no ordinary trip. Joined by the exuberant Mitchkowski Lowery, the duo are magically drawn into the mysterious world of Alascone - a place where lightning storms are good Farnog; Catarats steal socks; and the day only ends when you fall asleep.
Desperate to find their way back to the train, the two meet Boqi, a whimsical gardener - although he insists "it’s not my garden" - who agrees to guide them to Junction Sixteen-O-Nine, the way out.
As the journey unfolds, events disclose Elli’s troubled past while the uncertain futures of worlds collide. Train to Alascone dives into the depths of friendship and flies to the heights of hope.

I Recommend Train to Alascone
The Train to Alascone is a compelling story with adventure, whimsy, creativity and a unique look at issues facing our real world.
The main character, Elli, is a combination of sweetness, intellect, bravery and compassion. She solves riddles and travels through a magical world with her new found friends, Mitch and Boqui. We join her through her hero’s journey as she aims to rescue her world and find a bright new future.
The narration is compelling, and carries the story forward with good pacing and with voices that match all the characters. I especially liked the fun voice of Boqui. The magical parts of the journey are a joy to listen to. My granddaughter loved all of the voices.
This Audible book lasted for many hours and was good value for the price. A good story for children and a fun listen. I recommend it.
