Heart Wrenching

the ending had me in tears! but throughout the book I loves the witty banter and seeing their relationships develop. this one was definitely spicy. I really enjoy the narration of both narrators. Keira did a fantastic job with bringing the emotion of the book to life. and Troy the way he changed his voice throughout the dialog as the King was speaking was amazing.

Great series. Leaves much to reflect upon.

I really enjoy this book series so far. I like the storyline, the romance, how different these 5 caracters are and how they're slowly coming together, overcoming their many challenges.

The grief, the trauma, the neglect, the healing journey for all of them, their drastically different backgrounds, their coping mechanisms. Shining light on how boys/men can also fall victim to sexual, physical and emotionnal abuse. How women can be predators, and showing the lasting effects the trauma. How shame, taboos, perceptions of what defines weakness are navigated.

We see how one stands up for themselves despite what others may perceive as unconventional, and how trust is slowly built for all of them. There's a lot of vulnerability and layers to this story.

The evolution of each caracter, and how not only Elise learns to embrace every aspect of her new self and needs, but how the men in her life learn to embrace them as well regardless of how difficult it may be to understand. How Elise learns to trust and ask for help, seeing that it isnt weakness.
She embraces her sexuality, her strength, and everything she does is on her own terms. She slowly starts to trust, to feel safe and to be vulnerable, allowing herself to process her emotions more and more. And the men around her respect the bounderies she sets, and allow her to do so at her own pace.

I believe people may be able to relate to these caracters more than they would think, this series is rich and has much to reflect upon.

The Batlle of the Kings

OH MY GOSH!!! We learn so very many important things. Betrayals are discovered, bonds are made, deals are broken and death surrounds them as our queen and her kings try and figure out what is going on. Death comes knocking and my heart and our group of avenging angles hearts broke at the end of a battle. But we also get some happy to go along with it.

Please read (listen) even though what I have eluded to may make you want to not. I promise it is worth It. the twisted sisters have limits apparently ;)

Wow lots happens

So we’re 3 books in & still we get flash backs to the months before her brother’s death so I’m guessing we’re not going to figure it out until the last book.

We saw different sides to her guys and sometimes they actually all came together for a common goal.

They got to see the elite Zodiac Academy and play against them, it was very cool having the cross over 4 years earlier of the guys from Zodiac Academy.

There were hard truths revealed (even though I kinda felt like it was fake drama put into the book) but oh well.

They are getting closer yet further away from the true King!

And thing book ended up true mates & heartache
As they head into summer break

It's okay

I wanted to love this book since I loved the first two... but I feel like the boys grow and evolve... Their characters are amazing. However, I felt like Elise didn't have that same affect... she got so annoying and I had a really hard time getting past how selfish she was. The story itself is pretty good... just Elise ruined it for me.

hmm hmm hmm

I have some wild mixed feelings about this book.
There is a lot of this book that just doesn't need to be there. Don't get me wrong the fluff is fun and I like seeing more of the characters but I cant help but wonder if the story would be more heavy hitting with half of the filler moments.
That being said I LOVE this world and I LOVE these characters and I'm excited to finish this series off
