Publisher's Summary

They tried to break us.

They almost did.

But we're not going anywhere.

The Celestial Heirs think the stars are on their side. But they don't know what's coming. We have to be smart. Fighting them one on one isn't an option, so we have to be stealthy. Remaining under the radar won't be easy, but if we pull it off, they'll never suspect our involvement when their lives start falling apart.

Besides, they've already taken us to the brink of hell, what more can they really do?

So much fun

I wish more were ready to listen to. These audios are hilarious and entertaining. The narrators do a great job of pulling me into the story.

MASSIVE Improvement

After listening for the first book, there was enough of an over arching story that made me want to continue. So glad I did. The story really unfolds as the twins explore their powers.

The revenge though….

Okay so when they decided to plot their revenge it was everything. It had me in fits of laughter and the pit ball game was everything! But are so many unanswered questions left I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Best Audible Ever

I died laughing so many times listening to this audible and the readers as so excellent when reading the different character voices and lines. You just know who is speaking without having to listen for "Darius said" or "I Said" It's so beautiful. I also died at 2 AM in the morning listening to chapter 17 when the voice of Jake Bordeaux came out to voice Caleb's thoughts about a plastic inflatable. That has to be my favourite chapter in the series so far, hands down.

Better than book one!

The balance lacking in book one between happy moments and frustrating ones is much better in this book. Narration was good. This series is a violent, dark romance version of Harry Potter.

Great book, narrator is iffy

I really enjoyed the first book, and this one was also good. But I’m writing this review about the narrator. The narrator is hard to listen to, specifically when narrating the male characters and when pronouncing words that are meant to be sounds, like, “er,” “argh,” or “ugh.”

Each time a male character speaks, the narrator tries SO hard to lower her voice, it basically becomes comical. I understand the need to differentiate between characters in audiobook narration, but it made me cringe each time.

And each time a twin makes a noise out of confusion, embarrassment, exasperation etc. the narrator over-enunciates the sound instead of making it sound natural or like dialogue. Will I still listen to the next book with the same narrator? Yes. Will I shudder (not in a good way) each time a male character speaks? Yes.
