Alex has a leadership coaching business called August Consulting where he helps leaders hone their skills to make sure their teams are high performing, healthy units. His background in special operations during his military service gives him a unique perspective. We discussed practices to remain calm, how to set your day up so that as the leader, you show up your best, giving yourself time between interactions, etc. All of these were powerful tips that seem so simple yet many leaders fail to use and implement.
