    Acclaimed television and film actress, grammy award winning singer & songwriter, former model and loving mother, Tia Carrere,  joins husband and wife duo, Alison Pothier and Jules Williams for this episode of IBULIEVESharing about how childhood challenges framed her beginnings, inspired her healing and informed her philosophy and approach to life, Tia encourages perseverance and self-acceptance.  Speaking about the importance of honing our narratives and doing the inner work to free our steps to move forward, Tia offers, "We are all facing great adversity and difficulty, but don't let that be the cement around your boots."

    Raised in Honolulu, Hawaii,  'Althea' Rae Duhinio Janairo, became professionally known as 'Tia' Carrere, honoring a nickname ascribed to her by her sister.   First discovered at 17 years old while out grocery shopping, Tia was cast in her first movie, Aloha Summer and moved to Los Angeles, California.  Among her many roles, she acted in General Hospital,  Wayne's World,  True Lies, Relic Hunter  and many others and is the voice of Lilo's sister Nani, in Lilo & Stitch.   Tia has also won two Grammy Awards for her music and shares in this special conversation, news of her upcoming song, "I'm Still Here."

    Adventure racer and world-class endurance athlete, Heather Wildman,  is the Founder of the Malibu Fountain of Youth Fitness.  A marathoner, triathlete, mountaineer, paddle boarder, personal trainer, fitness model and loving mother, Heather joins husband and wife duo, Alison Pothier and Jules Williams for this episode of IBULIEVESharing about how adventure sports and extreme fitness helped her gain confidence and overcome childhood adversity, Heather speaks about how embracing what made her different helped her to dig deep ... and shine.     

    Finishing in the top 10 of her age grade in the legendary Hawaii Ironman, Heather has completed 12 marathons, numerous triathlons and climbed mountains near and far - including, The Matterhorn, Maroon Bells, Mt Rainier, Mont Blanc, Mt Jackson and Longs Peak.  An avid paddleboarder, Heather was the first woman to stand-up paddle board across Lake Michigan.  She is a living embodiment of her beliefs that health and fitness are the fountain of youth.

    Acclaimed drummer, musician and composer Santa Davis joins husband and wife duo Jules Williams and Alison Pothier for this episode of I BULIEVE.  Santa is a member of the band, Soul Syndicate and has recorded with fellow reggae legends like Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer in Bob Marley and the Wailers,  as well as Jimmy Cliff,  Big Mountain and Ziggy Marley to name a few.   He has also played with traditional artists such as Willie Nelson, Pink and Chaka Khan.

    Join us as Santa shares his story of growing up in Kingston, Jamaica and his journey from a young boy in the drum corps to one of reggae's drumming legends.  Speaking about how his own history evolved alongside that of the reggae music genre, Santa also shares about the poignant moments that defined his life and career.  Dear friend of Peter Tosh, Santa was in the room the night Peter Tosh was shot and murdered.   Surviving on a miracle and a prayer,  Santa plays today with a bullet still lodged in his back.

    A deeply soulful man, Santa's is a life well-lived and founded in faith, integrity and spiritual wisdom.  His passion for life and music is infectious.  An inspiration for all those 'choosing' their paths ... through the most challenging of circumstances.
