  • Season 4, Episode 72: Interview with Hannah Cheramy (Julie Matthews) from the Horror/Mystery Series “From” (20220-2024)
    Nov 23 2024

I had the honor of speaking with Hannah Cheramy, who plays Julie on the suspenseful MGM+ series FROM. Hannah shared her experience of portraying a character who’s navigating such mysterious dangers of a town which traps its residents with no clear escape. And I was able to get the behind-the-scenes scoop and her take on what lies ahead as she opened up about the trials of playing someone searching for normality in such a chaotic, eerie setting. She also reflected on the intensity of the show's atmosphere and how the tense dynamic on set translates into her portrayal of Julie.

  • Season 4, Episode 71: Interview with Mason Mecartea (Cole) from Damien Leone’s “Terrifier 3” (2024)
    Nov 22 2024

I had the honor and pleasure of talking to Mason Mecartea about his role as Cole” and he briefly described his own aspect of his character and his intense death scene in which we all know is up there with Casey Hartnett’s death scene in Terrifier 2.

I love how Mason went into a brief but very descriptive detail about what preparations were made for his death scene and how much fun they had filming it. Mason is a very humble and talented actor; may he go down horror history as one of the most brutal and insane deaths.

  • Season 4, Episode 70: Interview with Marieh Delfino (Rhonda Truitt) from “Jeepers Creepers 2” (2003)
    Nov 19 2024

I had a wonderful time speaking to Marieh regarding her role in one of the best horror sequels ever made. We talked about her role and the aspect of her character and how much of a badass she is. And, we may have digressed a bit talking about psychology and serial killers – but as you can see, that can go hand in hand with the horror community.

I can honestly say that Marieh is a wonderful and talented actress, and I would absolutely love to see her in more movies in the future. Perhaps she will one day get to work with Martin Scorsese. Hopefully, the right people will see this interview and pass the word along.

  • Season 4, Episode 69: Interview with Antonella Rose (Gabbie) from Damien Leone’s “Terrifier 3” (2024)
    Nov 16 2024

Antonella is such a sweet person and very talented! I saw down with her to discuss her role as Gabbie in Terrifier 3. We spoke about how her acting career started and how she is not a stranger to the horror community; she as also in Fear the Walking Dead which led me to believe that she was prepared for the role of Gabbie.

We spoke about what it’s like in set and working with Lauren LaVera. Lauren and Antonella seemed to have created a bond between them and which I think is wonderful.

She also described her favorite scene: “Pass the rice” in which we all know is a great scene in the movie. And apparently, she would not change a thing about the movie or her character (and neither would I).

Overall, phenomenal interview with a very gifted young actress! Be sure to checkout her new movie, “A Sudden Case of Christmas” (2024) where Antonella is acting alongside the legendary Danny DeVito.

  • Season 4, Episode 68: Interview with Tiffany Helm (Violet) from “Friday the 13th: A New Beginning” (1985)
    Nov 15 2024

I sat down with an actress from the Golden Era of horror, Ms. Tiffany Helm who portrays Violet in the non-canon movie for the Friday the 13th Franchise. Although Jason Voorhees is not in this particular movie, it’s still one of my all-time favorites. After speaking to John Shepherd a few years back about his role, the movie was bumped up on my favorites.

Tiffany explained how she got the role as Violet and how she performed with the cast and crew. Tiffany confirmed that her character was ‘New-Wave’ and sort of punk-rockish. Either way, she performed exceptionally well.

We also talked about her new coming up called “Catnip” which is due to be released next year some time between Halloween and Thanksgiving. It’s a creature feature/comedy-horror with killer cats! She provided the cast list with some very familiar names, and I cannot wait to see it. Nov 9 2024

I sat down with Jolene Andersen, and she is a superstar! I loved how she explained everything in the movie: from the chainsaw wielding zombie to the actual Stork costume. She also unpacked the aspects of how she and the other actors prepared for the scenes. There is a lot more to listen to so sit back, relax, and enjoy the episode!

  • Season 4, Episode 66: Interview with Luciano Leroux (Nicholas Shanley) in “Teacup” (2024)
    Nov 5 2024

Now that the first season has aired on Peacock, Luciano was able to dive deeper into the spoilers and spill whatever he could. However, regarding the second season, nothing could be told about what to expect. Which is fair, we all have wait patiently to see what becomes of the two families fighting for survival.

I can say that this series does remind me of Stephen King’s “Dreamcatcher” in a sense. Two alien races fight against each other; one attempting to save humans and the other attempting to destroy it.

The special effects are very visually stunning, and the makeup is out of this world. James Wan has outdone himself again for this series and I cannot wait to see what happens in season 2.

  • Season 4, Episode 65: Interview with Aline O’Neill (Tonya Perkins) from “Hysteria!” (2024)
    Nov 1 2024

It was wonderful speaking to Aline O’Neill about her role as Tonya in the new Peacock Original series, “Hysteria!” starring Bruce Campbell, Emjay Anthony, Chiara Aurelia, Kezii Curtis, and Anna Camp.

Acting as ‘Tonya Perkins’ in this series, this was sort of Aline’s break-out role. She described how much it meant to her acting alongside the wonderful actors and actresses and how fortunate she was to acquire the part.

Even though the series focuses on the “Satanic Panic” of the 1980s, there is plenty of teenage angst, diving into danger, and teenage rebellion to go around, enough to keep the Sherriff (Bruce Campbell) busy.

Aline is such a wonderful person, and I am very glad that I had the opportunity to speak to her; clearly, she is very talented, and I can see her career soaring. Hopefully, and fingers crossed, that she will return in season 2.

If I could briefly sum up the series, it would be this: Hysteria! Is full of a talented ensemble of teens which makes it easy for the audience to root for the characters and share a yearning to belong and to be seen for who they are. However, in the 1980s, it was an unfortunate decade due to the era of the “satanic panic” and heavy metal causing parents to live in terror and blame television shows, even the Smurfs.
