If you still don’t know what to do on New Year’s Eve or you’re maybe unsure whether you should join your friends at the club or maybe spend the whole evening with your family—even if you maybe don’t really feel like it—then listen to this episode.
I’m talking about New Year’s Eve and all the big expectations that come with it. It’s the HOT topic in December and comes back every year. The same questions pop up: What should I do on New Year’s Eve? Who should I spend it with? Where should I go? Or maybe you’re someone who doesn’t even ask those questions because the transition into a new year doesn’t feel that important to you. Yet, I still think that this evening comes with a lot of pressure, stress, and expectations for many of us. So let’s talk about it! Let’s normalize this evening and stop stressing ourselves out, thinking it has to be THE best evening of the whole year. If it’s not, it doesn’t have to be a big disaster.
What do you do when you don’t have anyone to spend New Year’s Eve with? And how can you create an evening for yourself, your friends, or your family that you can truly enjoy? These are the questions I’m talking about. I’ll share why I’ve decided to spend New Year’s Eve alone for the VERY FIRST TIME, how I’m feeling about it, and how you can create a meaningful celebration for yourself if you’re spending it alone. I’ll also share tips on making space for your own wishes and needs if you’re choosing to spend the evening with family, friends, or your partner. Plus, I’ll reveal how I’m planning to spend my evening productively and the things I’ll do to set myself up for a positive start to the new year.
I want to take this moment to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support. My podcast launched in 2024, and what started as a small vision has grown into something much bigger. I’m excited to share many more moments with you in 2025. Until then, I wish you a smooth transition into the new year and a holiday season filled with joy and fulfillment. Feel hugged and celebrated.
With love,
Larissa
