I woke up to the sound of an alarm clock. The wooden cabin where I found my tired, aching body to be gradually waking up was fairly familiar. The smell of wisdom was merging with the soothing warmth of maple syrup, pan-fried bananas and hot blueberries. A strong, roasted black coffee curbed its way into my nostrils, shaking up my entire organism, finally encouraging me to step out of the bed and greet the day. There he was, standing by the oven, carefully flipping the pancakes while a rolled tobacco kept dangling from his mouth.
