The immortal knight, Sir Richard of Ashbury, hunts his nemesis through centuries of war.... AD 1190, England. A young knight's family is slaughtered. As the lords of Europe seek to retake Jerusalem from the mighty Saladin, Sir Richard swears an oath of vengeance against Earl William de Ferrers, who has returned from the dead with an insatiable thirst for violence. Richard stalks William and his savage knights across Europe to the Holy Land, fights in the crusades' bloodiest battles alongside Richard the Lionheart and unearths a secret of great evil under the hills of Palestine.

The immortal knight battles an unstoppable horde of Mongol vampires. AD 1253. The immortal William de Ferrers sits at the right hand of the great Mongol Khan while his hordes conquer Persia and Syria. Soon, nothing will separate them from Christendom itself. And so Richard of Ashbury must cross the barbarian wilderness to destroy the threat to Christendom and fulfill his oath of vengeance.

It is 3000 BC. A hundred clans have been destroyed and thousands of people are dead. The Wolf God commands an inexperienced young warrior to hunt down the bloodthirsty demon horde. With a handful of his faithful spear-brothers and a heartbroken young seeress at his side, his quest will take him on a perilous journey through devastated lands. He may be the son of a god and a mortal woman, but he will need more than just his great strength to overcome the dark forces that stand in his way.

AD 1440, Brittany. Scores of children have gone missing from the countryside around Nantes. The commoners know who is to blame. But they dare not speak up, for they suspect their very own lord, the marshal of France and lieutenant-general of Brittany, the Baron Gilles de Rais. As Richard investigates the monstrous crimes, he is haunted by the recent crushing defeats at the hands of an insane French peasant girl called Joan of Arc. But what is the strange connection between the Maiden of Orleans and the depraved Baron de Rais?

AD 1346. King Edward III wages war to claim the crown of France by conquest. On the battlefield of Crecy, Richard confronts a mysterious knight with inhuman strength fighting beneath a banner as black as death. To find his dangerous new enemy, Richard assembles a company of veteran men-at-arms and deadly English archers. Together, they must invade France and burn and plunder the country to bring the mighty French army to battle.

A corrupt god demands blood sacrifice from his people, and the young warrior Herkuhlos journeys to the west to save them. But a far greater danger lurks amongst the stone circles of this strange new land that will take more than his immortal strength to overcome. On the wild shores of the cold northern sea, Sif is a young huntress and healer. Both spirit walkers of her tribe have mysteriously vanished, and only Sif can find them. But there is a traitor amongst her people who will do anything to stop her from uncovering the truth.

A band of outlaws attacks an English manor in the dead of night. The bloody trail leads to the dark heart of Sherwood Forest, and Richard is certain that his old enemy, William de Ferrers, has returned. But England is in turmoil. The barons have erupted into armed rebellion against King John, and a French army has invaded the south, seeking to crown a French prince as the King of England. Richard must do his duty to save England. But he must also journey deep into Sherwood to destroy William and rescue the Lady Marian before she is devoured or turned.
