Jen is turning 30 and has spent her entire life jumping from man to man. So, when her latest relationship ends without warning, she decides to stop pleasing others and focus on herself. But her dad soon starts to display signs of Alzheimer's, and Iris realises that if she loses her partner, she'll be managing an awful lot on her own. Soon, she realises that Adam wasn't the only one taking their marriage for granted, and for the sake of the children she decides to give him one more chance.

When her flight home to London is grounded at Portland Airport by a once-in-a-lifetime snowstorm on Christmas Eve, Thea is out of options. Desperate to make it back to her family after six long months away, she spends her entire bank balance on a night's stay in the luxury airport hotel. The only trouble is, when Thea reaches the hotel room, someone has beaten her to it. Logan is desperate to get home for Christmas too, so, putting aside their immediate attraction, the pair agrees to share.
