As a young man, Richard Neer dreamed of landing a job at WNEW in New York - one of the revolutionary FM stations across the country that were changing the face of radio by rejecting strict formatting and letting disc jockeys play whatever they wanted. He felt that when he got there, he’d have made the big time. Little did he know he’d have shaped rock history as well. FM: The Rise and Fall of Rock Radio chronicles the birth, growth, and death of free-form rock-and-roll radio through the stories of the movement’s flagship stations.

Betrayed by his woman and his best friend, Riley King tries to bounce back with a case that seems tame at first. But it soon develops into a dangerous journey against a madman bent on destroying new homes in the Lowcountry and a phantom sharpshooter who has targeted him for no apparent reason. A wrecking ball hangs over King as he attempts to bring justice to those who would destroy a pristine waterfront.

Strange noises that go bump in the night. Ghastly apparitions. Alligators and snakes. Riley King faces these horrors and more as he spends the night in a house the locals claim is haunted.
