It’s the year 2000 in Dublin and, following some traumatic events, Detective Bunny McGarry is taking a well-earned break from the force. Bunny’s former partner died in the line of duty under dubious circumstances, but his murky background has suddenly resurfaced, threatening Bunny’s reputation as well. All Bunny McGarry wants is a spot of breakfast and a decent cup of tea. So imagine how annoyed he gets when two masked men attempt to rob the New York diner he is in. Unfortunately, dealing with that problem just leads to a whole lot more. One of the diner’s other customers isn’t who she appears to be, and the odds aren’t great that she is going to live to see another breakfast.

Bunny McGarry is back – and he’d really like a nice holiday. Somewhere with hot weather and cold drinks that come with little umbrellas for reasons he never understood. A certain nun has other ideas though and instead, he finds himself dispatched to London to find Sean Malone, a runaway teenager who doesn’t know his mother hasn’t got long left to live. The only leads Bunny has are a last-known address for the deadbeat dad Sean had gone in search of, and some letters the teenager had sent to his mum, one of which included a picture of him with the current heavyweight champion of the world.

Ed Cooper has a problem with his big toes. The doctor says Ed needs 'correction shoes'. Disaster! Everybody will laugh at him. Ed uses every trick he can think of not to wear the shoes. He even tries DIY foot-straighteners! But it's no use. The shoes arrive. Ed opens the box, and the shoes are not as bad as he'd thought. They're worse!

Poor Ed Cooper seems to have one problem after another - his life is never boring. This time around Ed is having problems in school. He just can't get his head around his time-tables.

At home things are bad too - Ed has started to wet his bed. What is Ed to do?

Ed Cooper's a senior infant now and that means using the big boys' toilet. Ed needs 'to go' but he just can't.
