Gary Ross is a CEO with experience leading the growth of software, technology and service businesses from startup to $150M in revenues. Gary has had success in big and small companies - as a division President in a Fortune 500 company, and as President/CEO in leading two $10M+ family-owned businesses (one to private equity exit). Under his company formed in 2014 (www.inspireyourselftoday.com), Gary coaches small business owners and executives, and works alongside them, to help them prioritize and execute on their growth goals. In 2017, Gary released his first book, The Growth Cube, which outlines his formula for business success and the process he uses in his coaching: a 6-dimensional strategy that unlocks the growth potential of a business! In 2016, Gary founded and launched a new healthcare IT startup called Med-Compliance IQ (www.medcomplianceiq.com). Partnering with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Gary and his team successfully developed and patented two new products that help heal patient wounds using technology applications. Gary raised nearly $1M from investors and grants and secured first revenue and customers in 2018. Also in 2018, Gary and his partners wanted to take what they learned and help others – launching a new startup called Help Me Startup (www.helpmestartup.co). It is a coaching service including an online tool that startup CEOs utilize to help them move forward from a startup idea, through the steps to get the new company successfully launched. In 2020, Gary launched his first podcast show with his son Tyler called Father, Son and Holy Sport – an NFL weekly video podcast (www.fathersonandholysport.com) that focuses on NFL news, analysis, fantasy, and big bets. The podcast followers and supporters continue to increase as the uniqueness of the show is the fun interaction and respect Gary and his son have for each other, along with their knowledge of the NFL. Gary graduated with honors from Kent State University with a degree in Mathematics and achieved his MBA from The Ohio State University with a focus on International Business. In addition to completing a 2-year relocation assignment in Europe, Gary has successfully planned and implemented 15 acquisitions, integrations, and exits - in the U.S. and abroad - and has received an international business alumni recognition award from The Ohio State University. Gary actively helps CEOs with acquisitions and partnerships. Gary is a transformational leader who analyzes associate skills, builds on their strengths and inspires improved individual and team performance. He utilizes multi-cultural experiences to create an open environment that unlocks creativity, and he believes the main role as CEO is to be the organization spark plug. Gary is actively involved on boards and in leadership roles within the industry and the community, and serves as mentor and coach to executives, students, and friends. Gary actively works with CEOs in all aspects of performance. Gary was born and raised on the shores of Lake Erie in Ashtabula, Ohio – where there are ferocious snowfalls, fun fishing, and fine wines. He married his wife Vicky in the Motor City where she was raised, and eventually moved to Columbus where their two children (Tyler and Rylee) were born and raised as Buckeyes. Gary has been active in his faith where he finds inspiration. He has served as Council Vice President of a Catholic parish of 14,000, and has worked closely with parish leadership to advance programs. In 2020, Gary started an e-newsletter called ‘God is First’, focused on educating and inspiring Catholics frustrated with the Church. Gary faced and beat cancer in 2014, running a marathon in the middle of his radiation treatment. He developed his most favorite inspirational quotes and a Top 20 Inspirational Song List built with the help of children and others who fought cancer. He speaks to groups to inspire people facing similar challenges and to give them hope by simply telling his own story of becoming a better man, a quest he calls ‘Gary’s Race’. Gary has run 10 marathons in the past 15 years and has been one of the top fundraisers for the Childrens Champion program at Childrens hospital, dedicating his race each year to children fighting cancer. In 2018, Gary published his Top 5 Leadership Values, combining his faith and his business success into a road map for leaders seeking to find true fulfillment. He believes that if you have passion, faith, and a drive to serve others - anything is possible! Contact Gary: gary@InspireYourselfToday.com www.inspireyourselftoday.com
