With no prior experience and little supervision, she began on a difficult path that drastically altered her life. Lisa's experience as a dental assistant provided her with a thorough grasp of the healthcare system and the emotional complexities of caring for others. Recognizing that many caregivers are overwhelmed and unprepared, she decided to establish a resource that provides honest advice and practical answers. After her father's passing, Lisa’s empathy for caregivers deepened. Driven by a desire to help others, she immersed herself in research and actively listened to other caregivers' stories. This desire has prompted her to share books with others who are going through similar journeys. In addition to her advocacy, Lisa is preparing for her own retirement and confronting the realities of aging alone. Her personal experiences inform her work, as she seeks to empower others to navigate their own paths with confidence and compassion.
