Marisa Tolsma is a violinist, luthier, and freelance writer in Loveland, Colorado. She was the head luthier and a frequent blog article contributor for Kennedy Violins, Inc. in Washington state for eight years before getting married and moving to Colorado. As someone who is very passionate about healthy living and reducing toxins, Marisa has many years' experience making all of the household cleaning products she uses. She currently teaches violin students, plays violin in the Loveland Orchestra, is an independent contract luthier at Medeiros Music in Loveland, Colorado, and writes for various blogs and companies. She also enjoys competing in fiddle contests, does all of her cooking from scratch, and lives with her husband in Loveland, Colorado.
