Ruth Williams is a Supervisor, Jungian Psychoanalyst and Integrative Psychotherapist based in London. C.G. Jung: The Basics (Routledge 2019) is her first book. She has also published chapters and encyclopaedia entries (see www.RuthWilliams.org.uk). She is a professional member of the Association of Jungian Analysts in London where she trained. She studied Jung at the Centre for Psychoanalytic Studies (now Dept. of Psychosocial and Psychoanalytic Studies), at the University of Essex (University of the Year in the Times Higher Education Awards 2018). In the 1990s Ruth awoke from a dream which contained the chapter headings and complete format for a book on dreams which she immediately wrote down. This forms the basis for the chapter on dreams in C.G. Jung: The Basics.
