Story
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

Point Made in First Half Hour....
- By Brett Jenson on 2017-10-18
Absolutely Fantastic
This being my first audio book, I'm very impressed with this work, and extremely satisfied with my choice of book. The narrator's voice fit so well with the writing and felt completely natural. As for the book itself, well, it's something I plan on listening to over and over until it's ingrained in my mind. A Bible of sorts. I'd recommend it to anyone who's willing to take a new approach to their life.

Not entirely relatable
- By LT on 2018-07-27
Everyone needs a kick in the ass from time to time
First of all, this isn't a traditional self-help book. This is a collection of life coaching sessions with an expert in the field, each with a new client with a different set of problems they want help addressing. Mel is truly skilled at drilling down to the source of an issue that someone is having, and really gets to the heart of the problem quickly. She is incredibly honest and grounded, and I couldn’t help but fall in love with her approach. Even if you don't identify directly with each person, you'll surely gain some insight into how you can take a look at your own life and identify areas where you could use a little help. Now that I've finished, I'm off to listen to the rest of Mel's books!

Finite games, like football or chess, have known players, fixed rules, and a clear endpoint. The winners and losers are easily identified. Infinite games, games with no finish line, like business or politics, or life itself, have players who come and go. The rules of an infinite game are changeable, while infinite games have no defined endpoint. There are no winners or losers - only ahead and behind. The question is, how do we play to succeed in the game we’re in? In this revelatory new audiobook, Simon Sinek offers a framework for leading with an infinite mindset.
