A lot of great lessons
I loved the overarching messaging of this book. Most thoughts and concepts were new to me, even if I've thought of them before but could never put them into words. I found the audiobook a hard format to follow along with since the whole book is structured as numbered points rather than a linear storytelling - if I paused the audiobook and returned to the same chapter later, I often forgot what the narrator was talking about.
At times I had to stop listening because the narration got on my nerves; the enunciation and inflictions were so strange.

Voices in my head
I expect to listen to this over and over while I go through my day. For whatever reasons the voices in my head have been harsh and critical. These new thoughts to consider and learn about what I THINK of me is gradually refreshing and replacing the old voices that no longer serve me (if they ever did).
Each item in each list is an opportunity for reflection and I've stopped the recording (and the car!) to really think about some of the points.
Generally, it's in the background and my attention cuts in and out. I'm good with serendipity deciding which catches my attention. At times it is subtle, with flashes of humor and deep insight.
I really enjoyed the list format. The narrator's voice - expressive, easy to listen to, and sometimes playful - connected me from the start. Well done!
I recommend this as a less regimented but very effective soft self check in. It is a book to share and discuss with another, or a book club.
