Tiqr awakes. The dungeon moves!

Wildlife and monsters have been stirred from their homes by intruders, both in the continent of Chandrar and the Empire of Tiqr, led by Nsiia, the Empress of Beasts, and in Liscor's dungeon, where a certain skeleton continues to help both friend and foes in the only way he knows how. In Liscor, the election will result in a new group of leaders for the city. But is that for the better or worse?

The earth shakes with the consequences of unwary actions, both politically and in small ways. However, joy has to be had where you can find it, regardless if you're a skeleton or a Fraerling or [Innkeeper]. Just beware of what's following you from behind. Whether it catches up to you now or later, when the ground moves, nothing will be the same. What survives a Grand Elephant on the warpath, the machinations of the undead, or the Titan's moves? Only time will tell.

so good so good so good so good. book 13 and still my GOAT

this story just gets better and better and better and better and better. a time skip would be nice but I can't see it ever happening.

another great listen

first things first, another amazing performance by my now favorite narrator. the plot continues to progress, however, some scenes take way too long to move on and others are way too short to detail what is going on. not really a criticism of the writing, but i am just really enjoying this series. good combination of fantasy/adventure and slice of life.

Toren & Pisces FTW!

Much better than the last couple books. Thankfully Toren is featured(still not enough) and a significant progression to Pisces narrative brings the meat to the table here for me.

Another large portion featuring Flos isn't so great, but not nearly as boring as in all previous books.

Another great book!

Some of the pronunciations and voices were VERY different than in my head, but I got used to it overall. Except fetohep and palt - those are so different from my inner head voice for them my brain takes a moment everytime. I found the events around tiqr a bit less interesting my first pass reading on my own, especially as the Flos chapters are not my favourite. But as always, Andrea Parsneau's narration brings the story to life even more and I found myself enjoying those parts more and finding it easier to follow (I can get a bit lost easily at the war parts). Off to read Hell's Wardens now!

I love this book series I need more.

I was waiting for this book to drop and I’m not disappointed it’s everything I wanted I just wish it was longer now I gotta wait for 2 more months for the next one. Pirateaba you’re a legend please never stop writing looking forward to the next one.

Awe, Bird…

As always, Pirateaba and Andrea Parseneau created an amazing story in an amazing world, filled with amazing characters. I can’t believe I have listened to, what? 14 books? HUGE stories and every single one has held me entranced. I love the way each character gets moments in these stories and how the world expands with every “book”. My fascination also expands with every story. I don’t want this storyline to ever end.

Character building and world building on point

Not sure how to fully explain, but this one has more of the vibe of the pre book 10. Not that I didn’t like 10/11/12 but this one felt more like coming home than those did
