Great Summer Read
Loved the story and references to PEI. If you have never been there this book makes you want to go! Having been to the island many times the author does it justice.

Booking a flight to PEI after this!
As per usual - AJ Bridel has the best performance.
Carley Fortune is an automatic buy - a realistic love story that Lucy and Felix have to overcome. This one features the best parts of a friendship - and how that friendship changes with big moments in early adulthood. Oysters, spice and everything nice.

Born and Raised Islander who can't put this down.
Absolutely stunner of a novel.
I was looking for something I could read in the summer, and being born and raised on the south shore of Prince Edward Island, this one caught my attention.
I absolutely loved the characters in this book and knew it wouldn't be a one time reading scenario.
Carley captured the culture of the island beautifully, and even helped this islander to remember how beautiful this place truly is.
It has also been used as a guide for our staycations this year as well.
There aren't many books I would recommend to anyone without knowing their reading preferences, but I will say, try not to love this book.
I'm even getting my husband to read it with me as we go on weekend drives across the island.
Absolutely stunning job Carley. It was a pleasure to read a book with our little island serving as a back drop.

A love story about lovers, best friends and PEI 💕

As someone who has stood in PEI, in awe of how gorgeous it is. This book just hit different. It’s so COZY. I was smiling the whole time. Uugh. So good. Also as a Canadian, I love reading stories based in Canada.

Wonderful
This is the best type of audio book, where the narrator is just fabulous and the story sets a beautiful pace. All I think when I listen to this book is : stars, flowers, magic, seashells

I couldn’t stop listening to this beautiful story
I’ve been to Nova Scotia, but not PEI; but I could imagine the scenery from the descriptions, and the story… beautifully crafted. I had a brief moment of dislike for Bridget (prior to her wedding), she struck me as a selfish, spoiled, character, but I quickly changed opinion when the reason was revealed. I couldn’t stop rooting for Lucy and Felix.

⭐️Captivating Page Turner ⭐️
I opted for the audible version since I’m always driving and was so happy I did…. It’s narrated by the one and only Carly Fortune so I felt like she was telling me this story the way she wanted it to be read.
Lucy and Brigitte’s friendship is truly something to cherish but the connection between Lucy and Felix, WOW 🔥 you felt the steamy energy. I can’t wait to see this story at the movies 😉

The perfect summer read
