À propos de cet audio
You live in your dream house, but there's no mortgage. No alarm clock, no boss, no bills. No claims on the day's time other than what you choose. It is making more money before breakfast than you made for an entire week at your last job. It is a crazy expensive car parked in your garage, a victorious symbol that your dreams no longer sleep in fantasies, but are awake with reality.
Make no mistake, this life exists. I know, because it has been mine for nearly 20 years. And in a few short years, it can be yours as well. Better, you won't need 5 tedious decades of thankless jobs, buzz killing frugality, and patient investing with our trusted friends on Wall Street.
Unfortunately, you have been scripted to believe that such a life is out of your reach, or only possible for a certain type of person. Someone with a certain college degree, a certain amount of VC funding, or a certain contact list of connected friends from Stanford. I am here to tell you, that none of it is true.
While I have been entrepreneur most of my life, I am no one special. You won't read about me over at Tech Crunch or in some Silicon Valley newsletter. While I have been an internet entrepreneur since the old "you've got mail" AOL days, I have never been funded by venture capitalists, I have never had a payroll with more than 5 people on it, and I have never studied computer science at school.
Despite this, I am able to create profitable businesses that create the type of unscripted life described above. We are talking five- and six-figure monthly profits with valuations in the millions. Although I have had two successful exits, do not

Paul Jarvis left the corporate world when he realized that working in a high-pressure, high profile world was not his idea of success. In Company of One, Jarvis explains how you can find the right pathway to do the same, including planning how to set up your shop, determining your desired revenues, dealing with unexpected crises, keeping your key clients happy, and of course, doing all of this on your own. Company of One is a refreshingly new approach centered on staying small and avoiding growth, for any size business.

How do the really exceptional CEOs get more done in less time than everyone else? What is their technique for getting their work done, while still having the time to spend pursuing hobbies and spending quality time with their friends and family? The truth is that great and lazy CEOs know a secret when it comes to time management. Rather than spending a little time on a lot of things, the best CEOs spend most of their time eliminating the single biggest constraint to the growth of their business.

The human brain is an extraordinary machine. Its ability to process information and adapt to circumstances by reprogramming itself is unparalleled and it remains the best source of inspiration for recent developments in artificial intelligence. In How We Learn, Stanislas Dehaene decodes the brain's biological mechanisms, delving into the neuronal, synaptic, and molecular processes taking place. He explains why youth is such a sensitive period, but assures us that our abilities continue into adulthood and that we can enhance our learning and memory at any age.

Why are certain people so incredibly great at what they do? Most of us think we know the answer - but we’re almost always wrong. That’s important, because if we’re wrong on this crucial question, then we have zero chance of getting significantly better at anything we care about. Happily, the real source of great performance is no longer a mystery. Bringing together extensive scientific research, best-selling author Geoff Colvin shows where we go wrong and what actually makes world-class performers so remarkable.

Cold calling is painful and uncomfortable for every single salesperson on Earth. The average seller makes a couple dials, hits 6 voicemails, and gives up the moment a prospect hits them with a nasty objection. But every time you decide to pick up the phone in spite of the suck, you separate yourself from the folks who quit. That's when you get ahead on the leaderboard. Cold calling sucks. And that's why it works. While most books are a 400-page exercise in academia, we have 4 promises to make this the most actionable sales book you've ever heard of.

Since you were old enough to hold a job, you've been hoodwinked to believe that wealth can be created by blindly trusting in the uncontrollable and unpredictable markets: the housing market, the stock market, and the job market. What does it mean to be a man in the modern world? Throughout history, being a man has meant different things. Maybe being a man was about being a good hunter, or a good soldier, a good businessman, or maybe good with women. Hard Times Create Strong Men examines what it means to be a man in the modern world relative to money, sex, religion, and politics. This audiobook examines what worked and what doesn’t work based on proven history instead of feelings.

M.J Does It again!
Are you tired of fluffy entrepreneurial motivation advice that leaves you with absolutely nothing at the end of the book?
Well this book is for you!
M.J delivers more value on the first 3 hours of this program than the other 34 business books I've read in 2018 alone. Millionaire Fastlane WAS my favorite book but this one over Shadow's it. I already have my best friend Ajay and my cousin listening to this audio program.
Thank you M.J for delivering such an awesome book once again. also the narrator was bad @$$! I really enjoyed this book.
Peace out Y'all!

Great information, awesome narration
Been a huge fan of MJ since I read the millionaire fast lane and this books takes things to a whole new level.
In addition to exposing the biggest lie we're told in society (the path of the slow lane and mediocrity) it breaks down what to do to finally escape the rat race and live on your terms. As well as how to invest after you've made it big to stay rich for generations.
Great work with the writing and huge kudos to the narrator for a world class performance.

Amazing Book.... read it twice.
Both his books are what I would consider the first books you should ever read on business... man I wish I had these years ago... immediately changes your though process on “How to create a business based on needs” instead of shiny objects, fads and personal endeavour ideas. It trains you on how to think about a product of service that people would actually want. Then he’s shows how to create a product that runs by itself. So much so good. Best book accompanied by the millionaire fast lane !

Realistic book on Entrepreneurship.
MJ Demarco is one of the most up front, realistic entrepreneurs you will ever read or listen to. His books are rooted in realistic, attainable theory and unlike most business books, he covers a plethora of subjects throughout the book, instead of a consistent rehash of a single idea with examples.
It is a great read, and more importantly, a great book to bookmark sections through, as you will be referring back to the book over and over again throughout your career. This book has 100% changed my outlook on life and I hope it does the same for you. #Audible1

Finally a book that tells it how it is !!
Thank you MJ for your honest and straightforward writing and insight. This book is absolutely not for everyone. But if you’re one of the few who actually gets it this maybe the best entrepreneurial book ever written.
I’m fortunate to live an unscripted life after years of building a successful business. Congrats to everyone else who has the mindset to do what it takes. And to MJ for making we appreciate that there are others out there who get it and he actually took the time to write a book about it !!! Amazing !

Very solid business book for certain types of listeners.
I categorically do not recommend the first 5-7 chapters. I will save you the time now by summarizing it as follows: the path laid out by our major social influences (parents, educators, government etc.) is unfulfilling and does not lead to the good life.
You may now skip to chapter 7-8.
MJ, while being an insightful business person and coach, is not a terribly good writer. Throughout the book he uses language that sounds like an absolute but actually has plenty of caveats as you go through the book. Especially as it comes to the stock market, employment, and the correct uses of both.
He also brags a fair bit about his own lifestyle but in the current climate of new vo riche millennials on social media I won't hold that against him.
He makes a good case for living life as an entrepreneur and lays out a very convincing and timeless blueprint to make that happen.
At the end he also lays out a good blueprint for becoming an income investor.
I recommend this book to anyone willing to sit through it at 2.5X speed and slowing down durning the interesting parts.
Full props to the narrator.
