They had released 6 albums as Gondwanaland and 4 albums as Gondwana and 2 compilation albums. Gondwanaland (Gondwana) Band formed by Charlie McMahon with the late Peter Carolan, have toured supporting Midnight Oil in 1985 for 26 shows. The group performed in the “Tomita” Sound Cloud opera spectacular for the Australian Bicentennial celebrations on Sydney Harbour. Charlie McMahon co-founder of the Gondwanaland (Gondwana) Band is an Australian singer, songwriter and didgeridoo player, and inventor of the didjeribone (sliding dig, like a trombone). He has played Didgeridoo with Midnight Oil and the London Philharmonic Orchestra for the Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome soundtrack. Charlie performs on the world music festival circuit in Europe, Japan, Russia, the United States, and Australia. The albums “‘Gondwanaland Live at the Greek Theatre 1989’.” was recorded by sound engineer George Alexander. The album sales are fund raising for the Australian Road Crew Association (ARCA), a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to helping ROAD CREW during hard times and serious illness through their welfare program. Many artists have generously given their permission for the release of the sound engineers’ desk tapes of their live performances that make up a diverse collection of some truly unique historical releases. One was an onstage reunion of the family, and the next day saw a massive reunion of all the past members of his Travelling Country Band. The Slim Dusty Family Show was fronted by Slim And Joy and daughter Anne Kirkpatrick and son, David Kirkpatrick and Joy’s sister Heather McKean.Joy McKean, singer-songwriter, musician and wife and manager of Slim Dusty, won the first Golden Guitar Songwriting Award and won 7 Golden Guitar Awards, 3 Tamworth Songwriters Awards, won APRA Award for Outstanding Services to Australian Music and inducted into Australian Roll of Renoun and an Australian Women in Music Lifetime Achievement Award.     Gwyn Ashton, Australian but UK based rock blues singer, songwriter and guitarist has been extensively performing and recording nine albums, since moving overseas 20 years ago. Touring the world, playing numerous leading blues and guitar festivals, has seen him sharing the stage with the world’s leading musicians like BB King, Mick Taylor and Joe Bonamassa. He has toured Europe with many acts including The Yardbirds, Johnny Winter, Peter Green, Slade, The Sweet, Canned Heat, Magnum, The Troggs and headlining his own shows. He has also played dates in England with Van Morrison, Robin Trower, Jeff Healey, Tony Joe White, Walter Trout and 15 arena shows, including Wembley, with the legendary Status Quo. Previously in Australia he had been lead guitarist for Swanee and Stevie Wright Bands.
    Gwyn is an inductee into the South Australian Music Hall of Fame.

    He is currently undertaking an extensive four months tour of Australia creating a sensation where ever he has played so far. A must see performer before he returns to Europe in May.
