    Dr. Kaleena Chartrand Sethi completed her undergraduate degree at New York University and medical school at the University of Massachusetts in 2008. She then completed her residency in general pediatrics at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell and her fellowship in developmental-behavioral pediatrics at Cohen Children's Medical Center/Northwell Health.

    Dr. Chartrand Sethi worked at Flushing Hospital Medical Center evaluating children with a variety of developmental conditions for several years. In 2021, she opened a private practice, Kaleena Chartrand Sethi MD PLLC, specializing in diagnosis and management of developmental and behavioral problems.

    Dr. Chartrand Sethi is passionate about helping families of children with developmental and behavioral difficulties understand their child's diagnosis, comprehend how this diagnosis was made, and learn ways to manage the condition in all aspects of the child's life. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in General Pediatrics and Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics.

    Miriam Leah is originally from Pittsburgh, PA but resides in Montreal, currently working on her biggest challenge of mothering three young children during Covid.

  • Specialty Spotlight: Sharon Stoll, DO, Neurology

    Sharon Stoll, DO is a board-certified neurologist and assistant professor in the department of neurology at Yale School of Medicine. She completed her neurology residency training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, and her Neuroimmunology fellowship at Yale New Haven Hospital.

    Dr. Stoll continues to play an active role in academic development and continuing medical education. She is an investigator on several international trials and currently serves on several advisory boards. Dr. Stoll has received numerous awards including Top Neurologist 2021, 40 under 40, Rodney Bell teaching award and is a national multiple sclerosis society grant recipient.

    Dr. Stoll also spent time as a medical editor at ABC News and is currently a medical commentator for several news outlets and shows including “The Doctors.” She has most recently served as the keynote speaker for the annual “Women in Science Symposium and is an internationally renowned speaker and patient advocate.

    Dr. Brocha Tarshish is a medical geneticist based in South Florida. She is a 2004 graduate of Sackler School of Medicine. She completed a preliminary year in internal medicine at Maimonides Medical Center in 2005, and then completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at North Shore University Hospital in 2009. After working in Obstetrics and Gynecology for a short time, she then completed a residency in Medical Genetics at Emory University.

    Dr. Tarshish is board-certified in Clinical Genetics and Genomics. After practicing full-time as a faculty member at the University of Miami for a few years, she began working as a Medical Director for the laboratory division of eviCore Healthcare. In addition to working for eviCore, she also works part-time as a Clinical Geneticist for Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. Dr. Tarshish also works as a Clinical Instructor at NOVA Southeastern University in the physician assistant training program. She has published articles in peer-reviewed journals in the field of medical genetics.

    Dr. Tarshish lives in Miami Beach with her husband and three children.

    Kaitlin Brooks, PHD, CCC-SLP is an Assistant Professor and Clinical Supervisor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Molloy College in Rockville Centre, NY. She is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist with experience working with adults with speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders in various settings.

    Dr. Brooks has published and presented on topics related to communication and swallowing disorders related to stroke as well as the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to the rehabilitation process. She is passionate about improving awareness of aphasia and other communication disorders and educating allied health professionals on ways to improve communication with individuals with a communication disorder, especially in emergency situations.

    Avi Golden is a practicing EMT and former Critical Care and Flight Paramedic with North Shore LIJ (Northwell) EMS and NY Presbyterian EMS. Avi holds a Bachelors of Science in Biology and has extensive experience as a practicing paramedic both in the US and with Magen Adom David in Israel. After experiencing a stroke in 2007 and resulting aphasia, Avi now educates the medical and lay community, and advocates for aphasia awareness.

    Dr. Baruch Fertel is the Director of Operations for the Emergency Services Institute and all of the Cleveland Clinic Emergency Departments. He has a strong interest in high reliability, process improvement, utilization, standardization, opioid stewardship and Peer Review/QA.

    Dr. Fertel is also Associate Chief Quality Officer- Regulatory Affairs for Enterprise Quality & Safety where he provides clinical oversight and leadership for Cleveland Clinic’s interaction with various regulatory agencies, as well as oversight of professional practice evaluation (Peer Review, OPPE, FPPE).

    Previously, he was Medical Director in the IT Division/ Clinical Systems Office with oversight over the Electronic Health Record (EPIC-ASAP) and other aspects of Clinical Informatics for the Emergency Services Institute and was also the Quality Improvement Officer for the Emergency Services Institute.

    Clinically, Dr. Fertel sees patients in both the General and Pediatric ED's. He is a teacher to residents, PA and medical students. He holds the academic rank of Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University and was also part of the faculty at the PA program at Case Western. Academic accomplishments include more than 80 published abstracts, manuscripts and book chapters. In addition he has made numerous media (TV/Radio/Print) appearances locally and nationally.

    He is an active member of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) both nationally and locally, sits on the ACEP Membership Committee, ACEP EM Practice Committee and is Chair of the Ohio ACEP Government Affairs Committee.

    Dr. Fertel is also Medical Director of the Forensic Nursing Program at Cleveland Clinic.
