  • Episode 22: Put the Lotion in the Basket
    Jun 7 2022

Welcome to Season 3! We decided to change things up a little bit for our podcast and talk about mental health depictions in media. We've been highlighting these in our discussions in the previous episodes - how media influences perception and understanding of mental health (positively and/or negatively) so we thought why not use this opportunity to dissect media depictions?

If you haven't caught on the title yet, for our premiere episode we will be talking about the infamous Hannibal movie series.

  • Episode 20: Racial Trauma in Asian Communities
    Apr 5 2022

In this episode, we talk about the trauma Asian communities experienced during COVID-19. There are other events within the Asian community that created racial trauma, not just COVID-19 and we were unable to cover that in this episode as it is a lot of information to digest. Instead, we focused on the most recent traumatic event and discussed privilege and personal experiences of microaggression.
