Strong-willed Winnie loves being part of the crew at Station 75, but her parents are less than happy. When a tragedy hits too close to home she finds herself wondering if she's cut out for this life after all. Former housemaid Bella was forced to leave the place she loved and is finally starting to build a new life, but it seems she may have to start over once again.

London, 1941. The East End Angels - Frankie, Bella and Winnie - are settled into life as ambulance crew members at LAAS Station 75. Frankie's grandfather is unwell, and she promised him she would always look after Ivy, her step-grandmother, but things between the two women are becoming strained. Winnie is making the difficult decisions on call-outs and begins to wonder how much more war and destruction she can take. Bella starts driving the ambulances and is growing closer to James while her love for writing is opening up new doors.

The war is almost over - and it's up to the East End Angels to keep the home fires burning! Frankie's fiancé, a doctor, is overseas looking after the troops - will he return safely home? Winnie has a happy secret - but can she carry on at Station 75 when she's going to have a baby? And Bella is intrigued by her new friend, a Polish airman. As the war ends and victory is in sight, what's next for the girls of Station 75?
