Watch Will Trent on ABC!

Will Trent and Sara Linton are back! This is the eleventh electrifying thriller featuring GBI investigator Will Trent and medical examiner Sara Linton from New York Times bestselling author Karin Slaughter.

After that night, nothing was ever the same again.

Fifteen years ago, Sara Linton’s life changed forever when a celebratory night out ended in a violent attack that tore her world apart. Since then, Sara has remade her life. A successful doctor, engaged to a man she loves, she has finally managed to leave the past behind her.

Until one evening, on call in the ER, everything changes. Sara battles to save a broken young woman who’s been brutally attacked. But as the investigation progresses, led by GBI Special Agent Will Trent, it becomes clear that Dani Cooper’s assault is uncannily linked to Sara’s.

And it seems the past isn’t going to stay buried forever.

Great listen!

Another great Will Trent novel with excellent narration. Could have been a touch shorter and some of the dialogue was unrealistic for me (Especially the romantic chat between Will and Sara). Faith's character felt a little off for me - all the crying, etc about her son didn't sit right. Overall, though, I loved it.

Not for everyone

Because I couldn’t wait for this book to be released, I didn’t listen to the preview or read the summary. As a victim of rape, I found it increasingly difficult to get through the book. The story was well written and the narration was excellent as usual however it brought back horrible memories and nightmares.

great story with a unexpected ending. the writer went into great details to make us think differently

could have left out some parts which made the story to long but overall it was a great listen

it was nice to 'see' Sara and Will again :) it was difficult to break away and stop listening.
Kathleen Early's narration is amazing!
it took some time to disassociate tv series Will with the Will i had in my head from the books.
i'm already looking forward to the next book!!

Powerful Subject

Hard to listen to the story line subject but well presented and thought out. Good progress on the characters personal stories.

Another great Trent/Linton series!

Loved it! Couldn't stop listening. Especially enjoyed the narration. Can't wait for more!

The story was engrossing as we learn more about Sarah's past and how it connects to current cases.

The best

I loved what’s happening with Jeremy.
Love love the humour …. Suzanne Pepper are you kidding me 😂
And Amanda is the absolute best…
It’s always so good when we get your humour together with a really tough subject.

Ugh

If you want to delve into a Will Trent novel that has very little about
Will Trent, this is your book. It’s not about detective work as much as it’s about Amanda, faith, and Sarah. This isn’t a bad thing at all, but the plot revolves around detailed depraved writings about a rape club. By the time you’re finished listening, you know too much about how to rape a woman. I think it’s so disgusting novel and I’m sorry I spent any money on it.
