An adventure that blends sword slinging action with punk rock sensibilities.

A must read for fantasy fans looking for something a bit different.

The action scenes are fast and suspenseful and the characters are an absolute joy to listen to. The narrator does a great job capturing their distinct personalities and a sense of camaraderie through the good times and the bad.

I expect I will listen to this one again very soon.

this grabbed me right away as I was still in the thralls of King of the Wild, the first book. definately helped having read the first book, bot this stands up by itself. cant wait to see what comes next to mow a favorable author.

Nearly a perfect sequel to Kings of the Wyld.

I found them reciprocal- wonderfully complementary lenses and stories on the same world (that I will miss if there aren’t more coming). That alternate lens worked. It was necessary to tell a story in breadth that stands apart.

A wild ride with Fable, culminating in an epic finale to the seeds planted in Kings of the Wyld. Fresh faces and voices riding on a narrative planted on old scores left unsettled... An excellent representation of some of the genre's most fantastic, complex and epic female characters.

Can't wait to see what Nicholas Eames has next!

Excellent sequel to Kings of the Wyld

it was hard to go from a story about an aging group of friends trying to get back to their youthful endeavors and transition to a story of a 17 year old lesbian tavern lifer who decides to go on an almost famous tour. Someone may enjoy this but not me. its too far pf a departure from the first book character wise wise and too close to the first book story wise. Also, the narrator should have listened to the first book to get the candor of the characters cause a few were wildly off . Consistency in that would have been nice. additionally, if you're going to pronounce the word "mirrored mire" 50 times in a chapter maybe Google how to pronounce it.

It recommen if you are an aging millennial like me, that you stop after Kings of the Wyld.
