Romance aspect ruins the book

I was really hoping the romance aspect would be glossed over in this book, but instead the book starts with the most ridiculous scenes. This trio thing just makes her selfish and both men seem like idiots.

In the last book she got upset bc one of the guys was spending time with someone else, but she’s practically dating two men herself!! Worse is when the other girl dies, that same guy comes back with his tail between his legs and asks her to marry him. At the same time another guy asks her to marry him and she tells them both “I’ll let you know the answer later” and says no more for over a week or two...why must we start this book with the whole town practically calling her to pressure her into saying yes to one of the guys?????? How about she focus on neither since her thoughts come down to one being exciting, and his kisses excite her and the other is endearing and his kisses give her butterflies??? Was this supposed to be funny? Were we supposed to swoon because as she says, she’s overweight and not the prettiest, but has two men after her? I’m not amused by any of this.

This is the second book I’m reading in this series and I honestly hoped it would be a straight forward cozy mystery, but nope.
