So wonderful!
Another great cast recording! That music at the beginning...fit the story to a T. Story wise, I think this is my favorite of the Immortals books. It's always a toss up between it and the one that comes after. But that scene with Numair and Ozorne in the aviary? It always gets me. And after reading Tempests and Slaughter it is even more impactful. That's all I'll say, so I don't spoil anything for people not yet in the know. Tamora Pierce is a gift to the world of fantasy though. She really understands how to write the nuances that make a story good.
