Publisher's Summary

From New York Times bestselling author Craig Alanson comes book four in the Convergence series, melding action-packed urban fantasy with his signature humor. Read by none other than award-winning narrator R.C. Bray.

Kaz Wolfe has everything he needs to prevent a Convergence that would allow gods and monsters from the Nether to invade our world. Everything, other than a single clue about what a Convergence is. Or how it works. Or how to stop it. To get answers, he might have to take a fun-filled family road trip to the last place he wants to go: the Netherworld.

Time Travel and the Nether

Another great book in the series. I love the humor and interaction between characters. This is the first time our heroes travel into the Nether. The chaos that follows is great. I love the narration. He's great at portraying distinct characters and interactions. Can't wait for the next book.

Action, humour and magic.

Great story and nothing like I have read before. I was totally immersed in the story and characters, brilliant Witten and read.

RC Bray is always great. Story is getting more complex in a good way!

RC bray is as usual great. The story is getting weirder and more complex and there is a nice plot twist I didn't see coming that made this my favourite of the series so far.

Sunk cost fallacy…

In this book, I.Q.’s drop off a cliff, the M.C. Takes on his final form (I.e. arrogant, ignorant, unbearable), and the talking animal/‘im hungry’ gag has gone to the well so many times, all that’s coming up is dirt.
If you like expeditionary force, or you’d like to know what a series with ADHD would look like, then give these a try. If not, you can always keep it around for ‘enhanced interrogation’ purposes.
